HealthVault Connection Center works with health and fitness devices that can be
connected to your computer, such as:
- Blood pressure monitors
- Heart-rate monitors (such as the kind you wear on your wrist when exercising)
- Respiratory measurement devices (spirometers, also known as "peak flow meters")
- Blood glucose monitors
- And many other types of devices
Some of these devices connect directly to your computer through the USB or serial
port; others communicate with the computer using an infrared or other wireless receiver.
To see the most up-to-date list of devices that work with HealthVault Connection
Center, go to the HealthVault Devices Directory.
Before HealthVault Connection Center can import data from your health or fitness
device, you must add a "driver" for the device to your computer. The driver allows
your device to communicate with HealthVault Connection Center and displays an icon
for your device in the "Devices enabled for HealthVault Connection Center" list
in the Devices and Programs screen.
To add a HealthVault-compatible driver for your device to your computer:

On the HealthVault Connection Center Getting Started screen, click Enable a device.
