Polar heart rate training systems (www.polar.fi) will be able to transfer valuable heart rate and physical training information to Microsoft HealthVault, All Information captured during exercise sessions with a Polar heart rate monitor can be transferred, via infrared, to the HealthVault platform.

Microsoft's HealthVault platform provides consumers with the ability to search, store, connect and share their health information by allowing a suite of wellbeing related applications to be integrated. Heart rate data gathered by Polar systems will be able to be shared across the entire HealthVault system so that it can be combined with wider health information, where it can then help to improve the management of their health and wellness.

The compatibility of Polar within HealthVault also allows health and fitness application developers to consider utilizing heart rate information within future applications. A wider range of applications will give Polar customers the chance to get even more out of their Polar products.

All Polar infrared enabled products will be compatible with Microsoft HealthVault including, but not limited to; Polar F55, Polar RS400, Polar RS800, Polar CS600, Polar CS400, Polar S725X, Polar S625X Polar AXN500 and Polar AXN700.
