MedKey USB FLASH Drive and MedBytes Electronic Medical Records Software

MedKey offers the FIRST portable USB FLASH Drive to embed an Electronic Medical Record software suite (www.MedBytes.com) that enables database connection sockets to synchronize Medical Continuity of Care Documents (CCD, CCR, HL7) from healthcare providers or other EMR vendors to the online Healthvault storage repository.  The MedKey can be used in Emergency Ambulatory environments with secure password-protected functions as well as a general portable storage of both a Personal Health Record and an Electronic Medical Record.

The MedKey and MedBytes features:

·         MedBytes allows the creation/editing/storage of an individual or multiple family members on one MedKey USB FLASH drive.

·         Synchronize Electronic Medical Records received from your providers, hospital or physician groups with your Healthvault Account.

·         Update Medications, Allergies, Family History, Vital Signs, Medical Visits, Surgeries, Medical and Dental Insurance and ALL components of an Electronic Medical Record.

·         Email family contacts in the event of an emergency and utilize the Emergency Button for user-controlled medical data needed by Ambulatory personnel.

·         All software data-entry screens can switch between English and Spanish for use in Medical Travel scenarios.

MedBase Healthvault SQL Server connection sockets:

·         MedBase offers healthcare providers and medical device manufacturers the ability to communicate with Healthvault utilizing the Microsoft SQL Server connection sockets (www.Medbase.com) to interface their medical device data and records to the portable MedKey USB FLASH drive.

·         MedBase offers physicians and other healthcare providers who do not currently use an Electronic Medical Records System the ability to use the SQL Server connection socket to store their patient records on Healthvault accounts as well as the portable MedKey USB FLASH Drive.

·         The MedBase Electronic Medical Records software suite enables healthcare providers to deploy Windows PC Workstations to create Continuity of Care Document Medical Records for their individual patients.
